Mr. Marcus was previously the CEO of Avanew Inc., Canada's leading Single Family Rental asset manager. Mr. Marcus has held senior positions at DRI Capital, Macquarie Capital, and Bank of America. In these roles, Mr. Marcus developed a wide range of expertise in transaction sourcing, structuring, valuation, diligence, and execution. Mr. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business and Finance from McGill University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Mr. Margolis has over 25 years of experience operating companies and evaluating, structuring, negotiating, drafting and executing finance, M&A, private equity and capital market transactions. Mr. Margolis was previously the CEO of Notogen, Inc., a biotech company that raised over US$16M and executed a worldwide partnership with a global pharmaceutical company. Mr. Margolis also held senior positions at DRI Capital, including as Managing Director, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Margolis practiced M&A, securities and banking law at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett in New York, Dewey Ballantine in London and Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt in Toronto. Mr. Margolis holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto.
Mr. Andrews has over 15 years of global experience in the fields of commercial cultivation, ranging from indoor hydroponics to large industrial agriculture projects, as well as consumer packaged goods (CPG) product manufacturing, taking projects from facility design through to product commercialization. He has a deep understanding of the logistics involved in bringing products to market in a timely and cost-effective manner. He joined the Steinberg Marcus Advisory Team in 2016, playing a critical hands-on role in many successful restructurings both within and outside of court protection.
Mr. Werth has over 15 years of operating leadership experience across regulated production facilities, manufacturing operations, and growth-stage companies. He leverages his military service to drive disciplined improvements in people, processes, and systems. Mr. Werth has taken interim operating roles across multiple sectors, leading management teams through transitions and turnarounds. At Steinberg Marcus Advisory he oversees day-to-day operations, interim leadership assignments, strategic projects, and team development across advisory and restructuring mandates.
Mr. Shearer is a seasoned professional with 19 years of experience in brand development and commercial strategy for both public and private companies. He has successfully developed and managed strategies for top brands across various sectors. In 2020, he was recruited to the role of Senior Category Manager for the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) to lead the buying efforts of the world's largest cannabis buyer. Subsequent to that he joined the Steinberg Marcus Advisory Team leading all sales and marketing efforts across advisory and restructuring mandates leveraging his extensive experience in regulated and non-regulated markets.

Mr. Yin is a restructuring and financial advisory professional with experience in court-supervised and out-of-court restructuring mandates. Heron previously worked in the Business Restructuring & Turnaround Services practice at BDO Canada in Toronto, where he played a key role in several formal restructuring proceedings, including several mandates under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) and Notice of Intention (NOI) filings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA). In these roles, he was responsible for liquidity management, stakeholder reporting, and developed significant experience executing court-supervised sale and investment solicitation processes (SISP).
